GCSE & A-Level Spanish Revision Lessons

In the UK educational system it is compulsory to learn at least one foreign language up to GCSE level, although many schools require students to learn two languages.

The top 3 choice languages taught in UK schools and colleges are typically German, French and Spanish.  It is not uncommon in the preceeding months before your exams that you might feel unsure of your ability to pass and perhaps could do with some help.

Most Spanish GCSE and A-Level exam papers are set by the EDEXCEL Exam Board.  Past exam papers can be downloaded free of charge from the EDEXCEL website.

The best course of action to take as far as revision is concerned is for us to work our way through the questions set in past exam papers.  Each lesson we look at a different paper from a previous year - carefully analysing the questions and working out what are the best answers. This is a very useful method not only in identifying your weakness, but helping you to become more familiar with the types of questions you'll be asked, and aswers you'll be expected to provide. If we continue to do this for 9 or 10 lessons, then on the day of your exam, it will seem almost like just another lesson!

So please give me a call today.
Spanish Lessons For Beginners

My services do not cater merely to GCSE and A-Level students and those who already have some knowledge of Spanish and wish to brush up on their skills for an exam. I also cater for those who have a need or want to speak the language but do not know a single word.

We start right at the beginning with the real basics of how Spanish is spoken, and gradually over time we will build up your vocabulary and grammatical knowledge so that within 10 to 15 lessons, you would be able to have a basic conversation with a Spanish speaker.

Of course, your success is very much based on how much work you are prepared to do yourself once the lessons are ended.  As with anything you wish to get good at, practise makes perfect.

My Spanish Lessons For Beginners Courses are particularly useful if you have children whom you want to be able to speak Spanish and for adults who might be planning a permanent move to Spain.   If you need to go to Spain on business,  or maybe you have a client who is Spanish and will be visiting the UK, it can also be useful for you to speak a little of their language.
